Canor CD2 VR+ Valve CD Player

Canor has been established for 15 years and with a fine heritage, the CD2 is a substantially built valve CD player. Available in both black and silver the heart of the player is the digital-to-analog converter, a 24bit/192kHz Burr-Brown PCM1792A. In the CD2 VR there are used 2 x 12AX7 (ECC83), 2 x 6922 (ECC88 equivalent) tubes and 1 x EZ81 rectifier diode. Meticulously designed power supply allows to create soft, massive, yet detailed sound deprived of any interference voltages. In the CD2 VR tube compact disc player there is used Philips CD drive, model L1210/65 which proved good also in our CANOR CD1 tube compact disc player.

The VR+ has been up-graded with superior mundorf capacitors.
