The FI-11 IEC connector is available in copper, gold plated and silver plated versions. Using Furutech's patented alpha cryogenic process and de-magnetizing of all contact pins, this connector is a reference product. This is the gold plated version, silver is the best electrical conductor known to man, closely followed by copper, then gold, gold plated copper is an excellent conductor, one of the best combinations for hi-fi applications.
