The Revel Floorstanding Loudspeaker

There are a special edition Topp Sounds speaker exclusively available from Mains Cables R Us. Designed and built by Topp Sounds in the UK.

These speakers are on permanent demonstration in our Huddersfield premises.

Specially constructed for valve amplification, the Revel loudspeakers are hand built and designed in the UK. The speakers can be configured to suit each individual customers requirements so the price quoted is for the top end speakers. Custom finishes to suit room decor and special up-grades such as Furutech binding posts are available. Over 15 different wood grains can be supplied as standard as well as plinth and plinthless designs. Many modifications are available such as pure silver internal wiring.

Also available as a stand mount with matching custom built stands.

Can be heard in our Huddersfield showroom or listened to in the comfort of your own home. These speakers are used in our reference system and can be heard anytime by appointment.

Specifications are:-

Driver compliment: 4 x Mark Audio Mid-Woofer #6

       1 x Monacor RBT-95SQ Ribbon Tweeter.

Efficiency: 93dB

Nominal Load: 8-ohm

Cabinet tuning frequency: 33Hz

Overall size: 1090mm tall x 235mm wide x 415mm deep. The bespoke optional outriggers and spikes will add a little to the O/A width and height.

Basic Construction: CNC cut 18mm Baltic Birch Ply.

The crossovers are hardwired using 2% tolerance components including Super Iron Dust Core inductors and ClarityCap Polypropylene capacitors.

The ribbon tweeter is attenuated via an adjustable 8-ohm L-pad located on the rear of the speaker so the treble can be adjusted to individual taste and room acoustics.

Please also note that as these are bespoke handcrafted speakers, made to order, and to customer specification, you should allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of the speakers from placing of your order.

Full face grilles can be supplied to order. These would be fixed in place using hidden 6mm button neodymium magnets so not to spoil the looks of the front baffle when used without the grilles attached. These cannot be retro-fitted.

The specifications for the Mark Audio Mid-Woofer#6 are:

1.       Nearly flat wide response 30Hz to 5.5kHz

2.       Built-in Baffle Step correction @ +5dB lift from 300Hz to 800Hz.

3.       Linear response under load with double front suspension designed to reduce distortion under peak loads.

4.       Production tolerances are close to @ ±5% on all major functions.

5.       Nominal power handling of 40 watts.

6.       Impedance (Z) 8 ohm
